Contingency Plan
ECONEX wants to be ready in order to face any circumstance, continuing its activity and attending its customers. For this reason, for us it is fundamental to protect the main pillars of our company.
We have implemented multiple preventive actions to avoid any modification of our commitment with customers.
Security plan for employees
We take several preventive measures facing the possibility of adverse circumstances. Training and security programs are given to employees. Some of them are: Course on preventive occupational risks or Course on measures to avert covid. Also, various precautionary measures have been established such as the use of masks, safety suits and protective screens. Not only is it necessary to protect the physical health but also it is important to consider psychological and social well-being of our team. Seeing that the company has determined a longer snack break and more rest areas at the disposition of its employees.
Technological Resources Continuation Plan
Our work requires different electronic devices in order to develop properly our business activity. For this reason, ECONEX has established specific continuity plans for each device. Although the company has Fiber optic Internet which permits to work in a more efficient way, ECONEX has a plan b. If things do not go as expected, it has Internet via satellite. Moreover, to assure its production continuity it has been installed a power generator. It will work when the town suffers a power outage.
Data Recovery Plan
We have a reactive plan in the case of a possible data loss that could result in significant business disruption. To avoid that the company constantly makes back-up copies of electronic devices, websites and computer programs. It is able to retrieve it in a few minutes.
Fire Prevention Plan
At ECONEX we have a comprehensive fire prevention plan, not only for the protection of the building, but to also guarantee the safety of our employees. We have fire extinguishers installed in all areas of the company, we have the work spaces signposted and we use relevant pictograms to ensure the correct use of security measures and emergency exits. We carry out regular inspections of the smoke detectors and fire extinguishers and organise fire drills to prepare our workers. In addition, we have a trained team within our staff: thanks to the FIRE EXTINGUISHER TESTING LABORATORY at the METAL TECHNOLOGY CENTRE. Six members of staff received theoretical and practical training which has prepared them to act in the event of a fire. They also received a certificate in ‘Basic Firefighting Training’.
Video Surveillance Plan
Another key component of our Contingency Plan is the network of video surveillance camaras and various anti-intrusion devices. Distributed at key points of our building, this system is also responsible for checking or detecting the presence of others, strengthening the fire detection systems and production processes.
Taking all the aforementioned into consideration, the company can assure an answer for any feasible contingency. In this way, maintaining our current level of service to customers and preventing the company activity from being interrupted. The plan is to have a recovery period as short as possible, reestablish the initial situation quickly and learn about new probable adverse circumstances.
